Blind

In conjunction with 'my flavour of the week' mentioned in my previous entry, Blind by Lifehouse beyond doubt fits the bill as one of the coolest songs I've heard. It is also one of those songs I literally, listen to over and over again. Blind is exactly like an emulsion of Red-Bull Vodka, where effects of a stimulant as well as a depressant are produced simultaneously; it inexplicably manages to keep my being still(though not at all depressed) yet buoyed with the injection of life. Although unlike the ever popular hits like You're Beautiful by James Blunt or Top Of The World by The Carpenters which make the perfect sing-along at a campfire, this moderately pacey song functions best when played while strutting along the sidewalks of the city. In your motion, I swear it would just detach you from the hectic world out there till you ultimately become oblivious to your environment as immersion in this song is complete. Blind would for certain be an eye opener for those who've yet to or are reluctant to step into the arena of contemporary music. Lifehouse and Rita Hayworth, despite her unparalleled ethereal beauty, are still therefore inextricably linked with being crowd magnets as their common denominator.
